Hello all,

Just a couple of quick questions. Does anybody know what the dimensions for the 2nd gen Fbody trunk lid are (width x length)? And lastly, at what angle does the lid sit when its closed?

Thanks!

I'll try and grab some dimensions this weekend when I'm at the shop.

It's 44" x 24". The 24" is overall there is about a 1/2" lip. My car is on stands but the trunk sits at around 17 degrees. I hope that helps.

That does help! I assume when you say your car is on stands its still fairly level? Im not looking for a super accurate measurement but I would rather not be 5 degrees off. Thanks!

NOT A TA

Hey Manuel

Saw this thread a couple days ago and I tried to measure on my car but it was kind of a pain. So I dug out a spare deck lid from a 76 TA and took some measurements. I'll try to remember to bring home a tool to measure the approximate angle. The decklid is arched from side to side but straight from the filler panel to where the front edge of the spoiler is. If you'd like pics of a deck lid PM me and if you want it on paper I can send it like the stuff before.

Across the top where the hinges are 44 11/16"
Across the very bottom where the spoiler attaches 43 3/8"
The sides are 23 1/2"
The middle where the latch is 22 5/8"
The bow across the top is 1 1/2"
The arch of the lid at the top is 1 3/8"
Arch at the bottom 1/2"
