Us guys with C6 Z06's wish we could easily swap the factory seat to something else. Anything else, in fact. The seats are truly junk, and easily the weakest part of the car. At track days, we joke about the "Corvette bruises" we get: bruises on the outside of your knees where you wedge them against the interior and door in a futile attempt to hold yourself in place.

And just as important: the seats are integrated into the C6 BCM along with the side impact airbag module and steering wheel telescoping controls, which is why we have a hard time changing them out. GM did nobody any favors with their Z06 seat and interior design.

If you haven't bought those seats yet, I'd look elsewhere. Look at the Cobra Suzuka, or even something from Corbeau. Those seats will integrate a lot better with traditional track day harness, and hold you in place as a bonus. :)
