Anyone running this setup??
Hello,
A 18/18" Combo is the way to go due to that 19" tires are limited in size, and more importantly 19" may reflect a shorter sidewall than the 18" front. I would go 18x8 front and 18x9 rear. Let me know what brakes you are running as the caliper clearance may come into play but we will note that at the time of your wheel order by requesting a thicker pad.

Yes, the car has been lowered with Hotchkis springs up front and 1-inch lowering blocks on stock Z28 leafs in the rear. Stock suspension and stock wheel tubs.

One of my favorite customer rides Neil. Simple but aggressive.
Neils car runs the perfect set up for first gen Camaro / Firebirds. The 275 / 35 / 19 tire is 27" tall on a 19" rim, so 8" bigger then the rim. The front 245 / 40 / 18tire is 26" tall on a 18" rim, 8" taller. Same amount of tire around the rim front and rear but the 27" tire fills the rear wheel well better then the the 26" tire would on a 18" rim. So you end up with a very subtle tire / wheel stagger.
This is becoming our most popluar combo now.

Thanks Frank.
69Blackwhss,
Yes, the upper and lower a-arms are stock. The only non-stock items are the front coils, rear lowering blocks, Koni reds all the way around, and an agressive alignment. Even the rear fender lips are stock and have not been rolled. Also, you can't go wrong with Prodigy and Forgeline. They went as far as making my rear wheels with different offsets for each side (!) in order to nail the fitment.

Neil B – Your car looks great with those wheels and tires. It sits just right. Are you using our 2 or 3” drop coils?

Thanks! The springs are your 1907F's purchased and installed back in late 2002. The Hotchkis Challenger is one of my all-time favorite cars.

Thanks John, we've done countless sets with 18x8 fronts and 19x9.5 or 10" rears, tire size is readily available in a 245/40/18 and 275/35/19 in more than a few tread patterns from Nitto, as well as other brands. Backspace will of course depend on a few things, but the 1st gens are so cookie cutter, we have recommended offsets based on the host of modifications being made to them. Schott wheels just bitchin, as well as Fikse and with the sale, an incredible deal, as well as Forgeline and NewGen to name a few. Good luck with what you choose, looks like the other vendors have jumped all over it for you, but if something doesn't pan out, let us know, we're always happy to help.

52235Although my Car is a Second Generation, i thought I would share.
I am going with 245/40/18's on the front, and 285/35/19's on my car..
I have adjustable rear shocks and Hotchkis Springs, Subframe connectors and Sway Bar. The front will be Speed tech coil overs and Hotchkis Bar and Steering Parts.
Seeing the Stance of the White 69 Camaro, i know I did the right thing...
69 Black and White SS, your Car is sweet...
Here is a Photoshop version..It will be 2 weeks before I can show the Stance...
Also here is the Wheel on the rear after the Willwoods were installed..

I would recommend a 8.5X18 for a 245 tire. Fits the wheel much better. Also a 9.5X18 or 19 on a 275 tire looks great and again fits wheel great. For a 285 tire go to a 10.0X19.
FYI the Stielow fitment is 10.0X18 for 275 and 12.0X19 rear 325 Goodyear tires. Same tires used on a C6 Z06. Also you can get Hoosier R6 and other street tires with this combo as well for mini tub and new front clip applications.

Don't forget that 275-35-18 and 275-40-18 sizes are readily available - at least compared to some 19" options.
I would like to see you run a 275 rear tire on a 9.5 or 10" wheel - much more stable.

Camaro looks great, love the red interiors. Had a 67rs that was red on red.
Can anyone tell me the offset for the 18/19 combo on the white Camaro?
thanks in advance,

I've been thinking of changing my wheels from the stock 15" rallys to 18s. I'm running 15x7s up front and 15x8 in the back. I tried running 15x8 up front but they rubbed the wheel well so how can you run 18x8 without it rubbing?

I will text him and ask him to respond. I do know that both of the rears run different offsets due to how the rear is centered on the car. I believe he measured them himself before ordering. So your measurements will be different.
