Up for sale is an '88 Ford 302 HO Mustang motor. This was purchased and set up for a carburetor application in my 1968 Mustang.
This is for a basically complete motor (you'll need to bolt on your accessories -- alternator, power steering pump ac-pump -- if you opt for those), and your choice of ignition system (carb setup one included)/intake (carb intake manifold included WITHOUT the carb). This was originally an EFI motor.
This was originally set up for a serpentine belt, but as noted I set it up in a vintage Mustang -- so I really only needed a single belt for the alternator.
The Carb is NOT included -- just a semi-complete engine with a carb intake manifold and shorty headers. The motor had no leaks and was only driven a handful of times.
Motor ran and drove great -- I have a video or two of it started/running if anyone wants. It was started every weekend to keep all the seals fresh when I wasn't driving the car. I'm redoing the entire car and will be utilizing a different power plant.
This is perfect for a project Ford or other vintage car.
