Hi guys. Finished up my Turbo project around 3 months ago. Everything is perfect except tuning this carb I have. I'm around 90% there, but starting to get frustrated and looking other ways. My problem are tip in stumble and rich A/F at idle and cruise. Any change in jetting leans me out at WOT. SO...What fuel injection kits without emptying my pockets could I throw on my SBC and have room to grow.. I'm only running around 5-6lbs now at about 400hp. This is more of a show car than track.

Thanks.

Powerjection III is a good TBI system for boost applications...

The new Holley Avenger TBI system can also be used in theory, after you change the MAP sensor and program your own boost fuel curves...

FAST EZ-EFI is for naturally aspirated engines only

csu..

I've had great luck with Scott at SDCE with his carbs; the three I've used were spot on out of the box. However CSU should know what they're doing too.

I have been having problems with my carb as well. I had Carb Shop mod it and it was junk then I sent it to a guy in Orlando off the forums and he did Brent Davis's "crutch" mod on it for me as a favor, but I have really been able to try it. I am in the same boat as you. I want to junk my carb and go FI. This carb has drove me to the point of just wanting to sell my car.

I wish they made a kit that was for decent hp levels that wasn't 3000 all said and done. My fuel system now will support FI I just need intake, injectors, and computer. I liked Holleys HP kit, but I just don't have 2800 to drop on this right now because I have my wedding coming up.

Depending how much of a DIY and electric guy you are I see 2 other cheaper options but with more user labor.

code59.org is a GM computer based with some aftermarket stuff to make things easy to tune.

Megasquirt is another system that is a bit cheaper than the big name brand systems.

In actuality you HAVE to understand the theory and mechanical aspects of the engine so you understand whats happening when you change something, but its pretty easy and well documented on the sites!

Just saw a few of your posts, and wanted to say beautiful build. I went in the same direction with twin turbos on a convertible Camaro, but went with a LS-2 with injection. I was on a low budget, so I used factory GN turbos I got used and fabricated everything myself. Nice ride....
