We have been a dealer for Holley EFI for 2 years, and now we are an authorized installation center. The new Dominator and HP EFI systems are the most user friendly, and intuitive we have ever used. We recently got our car, a conventional small block Chevy running. Is makes 550 hp, and features a coil on plug style ignition, with LS coils firing the plugs. It was a straight forward installation, and the car was fired on a Holley supplied fuel map. All we did was load some important parameters into the software, loaded the map, and the car fired right up!

The intake plenum is made by use out of carbon fiber, and the base is a Holley Stealth Ram

Is this a Chevy specific deal? What about the pontiac guys?

the EFI don't care what brand of engine it's feeding/controlling.

I am referring to the harness, coils, etc etc that always seems to be the hang up on any of these things. Special distributor? What is the cost on something like this?

everything is easier for a Chevy, but we actually had to make the coil harness, which was actually the same as the LS ignition harness for the most part. You would need to run a crank trigger wheel, and I am sure you could modify your old distributor to act as a cam sensor. It wouldn't be plug and play, but you would have one trick Poncho, let me know if we can help

Custom works

I have been looking at the holley efi hp setup for my turbo app. Any experiences with it on twin turbo application?

These are the parts i have fabricated for my 79TA. Will be running a MegaSquirt ECM with sequential injection and COP ignition.
These are the LS "Truck coils" with stock coil wire harness, spliced into a modified Painless harness. Oil pump drive Mark 1.
Laser cut 36-1 trigger wheel custom cut for the Pontiac 7 inch harmonic balancer.
Modified Ram Air Restorations Pontiac timing indicator.
Fabricated sensor and sensor bracket. I have the trigger wheel for sale along with instructions to install the wheel and fabricate the sensor bracket.
The trigger wheel mounts to the back side of the balancer, so the belt pulleys do not have to be moved.
I am working a distributor modification for a cam sensor to fire the sequential coil on plug. This coil set up could be fired in waisted spark mode using a Ford EDIS module.
