Nothing available at this time but depending on how the new kit is received, we will look into expanding into the other classic headlights and see what we can do.

Absolutely. The projectors are Morimoto bi-xenon projectors utilizing a 2.5" lens. These projectors utilize a D2S lamp however we use a D2H lamp. The Morimoto D2H lamp has the same base as a D2S however it provides extra clearance behind the projector which is important for these fitting with no modification to the vehicle. Ballasts are the 50W Morimoto 5Five which have proven extremely reliable over other cheaper ballast systems. The units are weather sealed as well.

Sounds like a decent kit. I was looking on the RetrofitSource website and didn't see a D2H 55W bulb just 35W, just concerned with the availability of bulbs to buy after the first set burn out.

I just ordered a Morimoto plug-and-play kit for my Crossfire actually, so interested to see the quality of product and will make decision from there.

The wattage is dictated by the ballast and not the lamp as would be the case with a halogen lamp. The 50W ballasts will run the D2H lamps and will provide more light output. In addition, the higher wattage makes the lamp temperature more white. 5000k lamps with the 50W system offer that perfect white which most of our customers choose.

We have used DDM tuning, VVME, and other HID kits and we have found the morimotos to be the most reliable. I've yet to have an issue with these kits. They cost a bit more but its worth it.

Thank you for the kudos. It is a difficult market but we are thankful for the support of the automotive community with regards to our existing headlight systems. With that said, depending on how well received the 7" housings are, we will look to expand our offerings to provide similar solutions for other headlight systems such as the 4 lamp, 5 3/4" housings. So far, sales have been strong so if the headlights maintain current pace, we will look to deliver a solution by the end of the year if not sooner.
