Is that 42lb/hr @ 42psi?
If so then @ 6.1lb/gal and 90% duty cycle, then:
42 * 8 = 336lb/hr
@ 0.5BSFC (naturally aspirated) = 336/0.5 = 672
672 * 0.9 = 605hp.
If the injectors are rated at 42psi but the running pressure increased to 58, then the horsepower capability goes up.

David,
This is a link to an injector size calculator,

This is the link to the LS1tech forum where the above calculator is posted.

I know this forum is primarily a 4th gen. site. I have found valuable fuel injection information there.

42's are typically rated to 600 HP. I would run a minimum of 60 lb/hr. but given the fact that it is a high rpm, big block, 72 to 80 lb/hr will give you room to grow and not affect your idle or cruise.

Ok chekt it out with Golen racing and they told me simulair specs aroun 70/75 lb. thing is im running a variable rokker system with a 1.18 rokker ratio below 3500 rpm and 1.67 above 3500 rpm.
wil that lower rocker ratio have a problem at idle with those bigger injectors?? again im a novice on EFI

Variable ratio rocker arms will not make a difference.
