On the back of my alternator, there's a single red wire that has a wire loom around it. I took a pic so you could see exactly what I'm talking about:

It's part of the Racetronix fuel pump upgrade wiring harness kit I got; I think the PN for it is PN FLT1-FPWH. Anyway...

I need another one of these long looms for a single wire (I have the wire, just need the black plastic wire loom sheath that goes around it, what the green arrow is pointing to). I checked Oreilly's, Autozone, Lowe's, Home Depot, AND Fry's Electronics. NO DICE.

They do have wire loom, but none for a SINGLE wire, like in my pic above. I think that red wire in my pic that the wire loom goes around is a 10 gage wire (I'm not sure what diameter of wire loom that would be). The smallest I could find is 1/4", which is still too big for just one single wire.

Does anyone know where to find this by any chance?

Thanks for ANY help,
Zig

Ebay. Check 1/8 split loom. The hard part about loom that small is finding something with a high temperature rating. 1/4" is easy, Either Ebay or McMaster-Carr.

I got some from a local John Deere dealership of all places.

AWESOME, thanks guys. Checked out ebay and found wire loom in 1/8 in. It says it's for single wire installations so that's gotta be it. I'll order it here in a sec.

Thanks again!
