need help finding an old Hot rod/Car Craft Chevy II/Nova build up. Early 80's era

Full chassis if I remember correctly
Lots of polish/chrome underhood
amazing detail work

I am trying to find this article because it had some great details about the oiling system and the crank vent system.

Anyone remember the car?

Sounds like Dobberton's car IIRC, except it had the twins blowing into an injected roots blower.

Dobbertin's car was another Chevy II of the mid 80's... but the Roots 6-71 and twin hair driers is not the car.

There was a similar car, Banks Twin Turbo, polished carb case, Banks lettering on top. Same color, not pro-street. stock hood.. very unassuming. I remember standing next to it@ Street Machine Nationals in Carbondale, Ill. shaking my head. VEry much like Buttera's Novette in stance and execution.

Like an early Rad-Rods by Troy car with cutting edge hoses, fittings, every detail was a step up.

Mom WHY!!!! Why did you throw all those old issues away!

Try Scott Sullivan, I think he did an early blue Nova.

Edit: never mind, it was another blue pro street car.

thanks Jimmy... I was thinking late last night this morning... I am 98% sure I am not confusing 2 cars into one. But I remember a cover car, like Dobbertin's and Buttera's. Same color as Dobbertin's or close, but it was all under the hood. twin turbo's, banks carb bonnet with red lettering, turbo's wide and up front, I cannot for the life of me remember if it was pro-street or more like Buttera's pro-tour-ish style with comparable sizes at all 4 corners. I just remember the 3/4 front shot on the cover and remember the article going into details about oiling and Crank case venting. And of course the immaculate details.

I am going to register on a Nova/Chevy II forum I found to see if anyone out there remembers too.
