I am ready for paint...I was thinking I could lay my base coat down then add my hood bird and other graphic then clear over everything (79 trans am hood graphic kit).... Do you guy think i will run in to any trouble doing it this way or should i just base and clear then put the graphic down.... I was told that i would have to wait at least 30 days for the clear to cure before adding the graphics

I would make sure that the graphics you're planning on using will last and won't do anything crazy under the clearcoat, I've seen them split and crack under the clear cracking the clear as well. Also, do not hose on the clear heavy with first coat,because solvents in it can soften and melt the vinyl the outer edges to warp ,so shoot medium coat, let it tack 15 minutes before applying another coat.
