Motor State Challenge 2011 - Please post more photos and vids

:)I forgot my camera and didn't get any shots of my car or the 83 other cars on the track. If anyone has some pics or video and doesn't mind sharing, I'd love to show my kids (particulary my two boys - they are dying to see some of their dad on the track). I did see a post in here with some photos and also saw a few on the MotorState website, but would love to see more!

I had a great time, you have amazing cars and can really drive. I'd also like to thank Randy Bell for giving me some driving tips, it was nice of him and increadibly brave to get in the car with me.

Randy is the man. He rode with me during my laps last year their and he is an absolute hoot and a great instructor. Hated my car was not ready for the event.

Randy, I said pictures of me "ON THE TRACK"!!!! I was kind of hoping no one got a shot of me in the grass... It figures right, one of the only shots of me is off the track.. I thought going the grass in a straight line was a safer bail-out than trying to make the turn after I missed the braking point (cone), it was one of those split second decisions - I did not want to roll the car.
Randy seriously, I knew nothing about driving lines and what the cones meant, but after riding with you on my last time out - I was starting to figure it out. You helped me a ton in that run, I wish I did better with you in the car _ but I was listening and did learn even though at the time it did not seem like it. I applied as much as I could on my next run and knocked off several seconds. Your help actually got me in the top 15 and it was the first time I had ever been on a track. The car is crazy fast, way faster than I would dare drive it (I was over 145MPH on the back straight), those boys at Backdraft Racing know what they are doing... NEXT TIME, I'll GIVE YOU THE KEYS AND YOU CAN SHOW ME WHAT IT CAN REALLY DO! and I'll take some pictures of that. Thanks again, hope to see all of you soon.

That was the write thing to do. The last thing you want to do is go off track side ways if you can help it. Besides I saw some nice flowers wile we were out their. Congats on top 15. You have some good skills and with a little practice you will be very fast. Randy
