I am a noob here on the protouring.com website. Heard about it for years, but never made the leap! Looking forward to spending countless hours on the site.

Currently building a 1965 Mustang Fastback. Have always been a euro-geek since I fell in love with the German cars in 1976 (i was 4 years old). I am building it along the lines of a lightweight track car but it will serve dual purpose as it will also be driven on the street. Project is about 30% complete and still has a lot to do.

Anyways, thanks for having me and i look forward to digging deeper!

I helped build a fast back a long time ago in high school..it turned out better than I thought after I went back a few years later to see it done. Our teacher said he'd never sell it and was to pass it on to his son..but some how he got an offer he couldn't refuse lol. These cars are worth there weight in gold if done right. My 87 Z-28 was actually his inspiration for his color of choice midnight blue. Awesome project..looks pretty good.
