After my door panels were finished, I jumped right into this project. The stock gauge layout just didn't fit with the look of the rest of the car. My 2 biggest inspirations for this project were 2 buddies Doug and George (Orange71) , they fabbed some fantastic gauge packages.

UPDATE - I got rid of the black phillips head screws and replaced them with some flat allen head screws with some nice machined finish washers

The steering wheel is the Tenzo Turismo in black. I modded the horn button by adding a real carbon fiber center to it.
I picked it up for under $100, BUT keep in mind that to make this work on my 2nd Gen, I had to add 2 adapters, one being a quick disconnect
which has come in VERY handy taking the wheel off when working on the car. Not to mention the anti-theft aspect of it. No wheel - not steal!!

Everyday use opinion? it's the best wheel I have ever driven with, very comfortable and it is wrapped in real leather.

I liked his so much I ended up buying the same wheel but in a charcoal color. https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif
Lets just say this guy is a pioneer, and totally on cue with MODERN styling whose car is sick.
We live 1 hour from each other in the Chi-town burbs.

Same mount, and security release too. I think the total investment was $300.
Scotty made me a CF ring for my horn button too.
Wheel is very awesome and like a Mumo but much cheaper.
I tossed my Grant.
