Well, I've come to the conclusion that the wire harness in my '71 Nova is in need of replacement. I will probably use one of AAW's kits since they are most often recommended, especially by other forum members that have wired more than one or two cars.
The Nova still has it's original instrumentation (speedometer and gas gauge) so some time in the future I would like to install a full set of gauges if I can find a panel that looks half decent and is affordable. Money is a little tight right now and I would really like to get this thing on the road. Will such an upgrade be easily done with an AAW harness, or should I bite the bullet and do it now?
If anyone has any tips or advice before I get started, it would be appreciated.

Might want to check out M&H Fabrications. They make excellent stock harnesses. I am using them in my 67 'Bird. They are exactly like original.

AAW came highly recomended to me also. Couldn't tell you about the install procedure as it is still in the box in the trunk of the car. Best price I found was through Rock Auto.
