Is this the one you have? http://www.crateenginedepot.com/SuperMatic-Transmission-Controller-19257634-P9105C0.aspx

If so, it looks suspicously like this one: http://www.powertraincontrolsolutions.com/transcontrol.php. Which looks a heck of a lot like this one: http://www.tciauto.com/base/files/PDF/Help/index.htm (a quick glance, the calibration tables in the instructions look the same too).

I'd say from looking at everything, PCS supplied these to both TCIAuto (which now has their own TCU based on the FAST controller hardware) and GMPP. And both TCIAuto and PCS are supposed to be paddle-shift capable.

And if you look at 2.2.8 of the installation guides online, they do list a "bump stick" operation: http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/_res/pdf/installation_guides/transmissions/SupermaticTransmissionControllerKitInstallationGui de.pdf

Perhaps someone else can give a definitive answer, but I think you're good to go.

I would call Powertrain Control Solutions and ask them. I found their tech support to be marvelous even for their resellers like TCI and GMPP.
