Hey everyone, I have recently compeleted converting my duster to a t56. Because of this the stock carpet will clearly not fit, i was planning on Herculining the interior floor and using a few "Duster" embroidered floormats. The floors currently get about 130 degrees (which is about what our vette w/ sidepipes gets with carpet and stock insulation...)

...So, down below i was planning on spraying Lizardskin, but i have recently read that it is porous, so i am open to suggestions...I was also looking at DEI's floor and tunnel shield for the transmission tunnel since i have a lot or space underneath to attach some kind of product, but it is fairly expensive. Does anyone have any experience with DEI's product, or can you suggest something cheaper that will do the same job? thanks!

...Well i think im going to try some "frost king" fiberglass/foil duct insulation from a home improvement store along with some 3m spray adhesive. Ill take a blow torch to it and see what happens off the car, if it holds up ok itll be good enough for the tranny tunnel. For the firewall i believe ill be using their foam/foil self adhesive duct insulation...cheap and should do a noticable job for a no heat, no a/c car...

Iam running fatmat its like dynamat. its much cheaper and will help with the heat and the sound. I dont have an interior in the car and with just the fatmat it made a huge diffrance in the car, i cant wait too see how quiet it is when the carpet is in.
