Valve Covers for Gen I or Gen II small block Chevy.
NEW ! Never installed !
Genuine GM
Part # 12497979
Center Bolt design.
Black Crinkle Paint
Die cast aluminum valve covers . They are used on all 1986 and newer Gen I and 2 engines with center hold down design. They are approximately 1/4 inches taller than production covers.

I bought this set years ago with intention of using them on the 383 cui I never built .

They retail for about $160.00
I'm asking $75.00 plus freight.

( One thing to note ! One of the rubber seals on one the valve cover bolts is torn , but it should be able to be replaced easily )

No the big hole isn't threaded.
It's for a push in oil filler cap.
