Hey all, new to the site. Just wanted to introduce myself to the members here. Getting ready to try and find a 69 Camaro and I need to know how bad of a rustbucket it can be before it's unfixable?? hope you guys can help me with all of my questions, lol.

Rust all depends on how ambitious you are. I've seen some really rough cars get resurrected.

What is your skill level? If you're only a weekend warrior like me then I would look for something that has only minor to moderate rust. There's nothing worse than the feeling of getting in over your head.

It's much easier to replace a motor and trans, than it is to start replacing sheet metal. My advice is to find a body in good condition and spend your hard-earned money on the rest.
