DSE Mini tub steel or aluminum shocks?

Hey guys,
Is there a big difference between the steel and aluminum shocks that DSE offers in their mini tub suspension kit. I don't plan on autocrossing the car, but would love for the car to handle well even though I'll probably take it to the drag strip every now and then. Just wanting to get everybody's opinion on the difference between the two. Thanks!

Ok, so I'm assuming that there is really not that big of a difference between the old steel DSE mini tub shock and the new aluminum DSE mini tub shock. Just asking but I have a great deal on an old set and want to make sure I'm not making a mistake before purchasing. Thanks!
