67 Camaro 4 year delay update..lol

OK, here is an update.....been here on the site for SOME time now...and have posted a few times on this project. But its been some a long time. Im going to try and keep up with the postings and photos.

Break down:
67 Camaro...no special codes...high school project.

F suspension: R&P, SC&C UCA, stock LCA with solid bushings, Landrum spring adjuster with 650lbs Hypercoil springs, 1"sway bar, SSBC 3 piston calipers 13" brakes...yaddayadda

Drive tran: 355 roller motor 425hp, 95 camaro t-56, ford 9" disc brakes using 2 3/4 binders

Rear: Landrum 200lbs leafs, shock relocate kit, JimFays11 watts link...

OK OK, have some older ones of sub frame and a profile of it with the Cragers, just not sure if they will post clear and large enough. I WILL post more after this weekend though, going to Magic Mountain and hockey tournament in Cali all freakin weekend......ahhhhh.

475774757647575475734757447578475794758047581here are some more pictures/updates. Trying to decide on the firewall paint, should it be defined as it is between the lizard skin and the primer, or sorta blend over the LS with the color?...Im leaning towards the later.

I think the sorta blend over with the color would look nice. This is coming along nicely.

Got some color on the firewall, looks like it needs to be wet sanded AGAIN...and buffed...but thats how it goes. A lot of time fixing a quarter panel flub by a local body shop, made some rear seat close out panels, Lizard skin the interior, installed and removed A/C, built glove box panel to hold the MSD box and coil....Installed the rear end,mostly working on sanding jams and interior metal to get ready for paint....not much to see..but an update.

OK more updates, mock up belts, stering column, brake and clutch, A/C, primed jams dash, painted upper dash satin black but masked it off, made inginition panel in glove box....and Im sure theres more but its comming along.

What is the benefit of two masters for the brakes vs one?

Nice project.

Two masters....nothing huge on the street, more so if your racing and the track your on requires a bit more or less bite on the rear or front binders. Inside the cab where the pedals mount there is an adjuster between the two masters front/rear, both connect to one brake pedal. On demand, the adjuster (remote cable in cab) allows you to dial in more bite on brakes front or rear. It helps too if the fronts are starting to fade, just dial in a bit more on the rears.

Again no major advantage on a street car, but the option is there if you need it, which is nice. Plus I think it looks cleaner then having a booster, and it doesnt take THAT much more leg strength to drive/stop the car.
