Is this too tight? This is l92 in a 69 firebird. Stainless works headers, s&p (thick) adapters, tall thin mounts. Grand Cherokee steering box. For ps hoses, I was planning on metric to an adapters then make some hoses. With the metric to an adapters in-place, wow is that close. Looks like I will be cooking the ps connector/fluid. Guess I need a ps cooler installed any way, but is this too close for reliability? I am looking to build a daily driver, well sunny days anyway.

The next picture has a old ps line held in place. I used a LEE insert on different car to use stock 1969 premade hoses and the Lee adapter performs flawlessly. The bend in the stock hose looks to be about 1/4" off the headers. Maybe the premade hose would be better.

Definitley too close, you should be able to slide a 1/2 wrench between the closest areas, looks more like a credit card to me. The torque action will damage the power steering fitting and the headers as shown. I would call Prodigy Customs and discuss this with Frank. He's done a lot of this type of fitment.
