To fix a fat idle what is better to change on my speed demon 750VS? Idle feed restrictors or the idle air bleeds?

It's easy to drill out the curb airbleeds but the trade off is it leans out the entire fuel curve.

Reducing the IFR is the right thing to do but not easy to go about unless they are the screw in type.

In that case they are up high above the fuel level and should be relocated in the lower position in liquid fuel

hanks for the info Shaker!

By curb air bleeds do you mean idle air bleed? I believe my IFR are in the lower position, but dont quote me as I am going by my memory from looking at the book a while ago, lol.

I am just getting it all back together as well as adding a a/f gauge so I will try to re tune it using the a/f gauge with the basics then start on the IFR and or IAB if needed. I went to the local carb guy in my area and he recomended the IAB change rather than the IFR thats why I asked. As far as I have read it is better to do the IFR. My issue is niether is a scew in style and BG is out of business making the press in IFR inpossible to get.
