I found some tubular control arms locally that are for sale. They have the same hardware and plate and cross shaft as the PTFB arms, but they are triangular. The ones on the PTFB website have an angle on each piece of tubing that goes from the cross shaft to the ball joint plate for what they say is increased tire clearance. These local arms would save me some money. I was just curious if these were an older version of their Upper Control Arms. I am asking here because I don't feel right contacting the vendor since I won't be buying them from PTFB (I do plan on getting subframe connectors, G-braces and bushings from them in the future). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would call Dave a PTFB I'm sure he will help you.

I broke down and emailed them. I have always heard they were pretty stand up guys there. He gave me some info on the arms as best he could. These were more than likely some circle track arms. They wouldn't be ideal. So, I am going to do what I originally intended and buy my arms from him at PTFB.
