NMCA Autocross & Speed/Stop Challenge @ Fontana July 8th-10th

I searched around and hadn't seen this posted yet so here it is.

$40 for two days or $70 for three days of autocrossing. I have been unable to find what tires will be allowed but I'd bet Mary will know. :drive:

What kind of course are we looking at?

I am curious of this myself. On one hand I am hoping they use the SCCA course on the West side of the drag strip because it is a decent sized seasoned course. On the other hand if they use that track it won't be anywhere near the show/drags/vendors etc. My guess is it will be in the East parking lot adjacent to Cherry Ave.

I am hoping Mary will have some influence on the layout since Hotchkis is sponsoring the event.

This is the first I've heard of this event and it sounds like fun. Unfortunately, a lot of us will be at the Columbus GG show. Hope they have other events like this.

Sal & Evan will be in Columbus with the Camaro so I will be holding up the fort in Fontana. I am hoping Nick won't be going(highly doubtful) to Columbus so he can drive his Falcon @ Fontana.

Definitely interested. 70 for 3 days of autocrossing sounds like a good deal. I wonder how it will be run exactly.

I talked to one of the guys from the event last week. He hadn't seen a set of rules yet for the autocross but he did confirm the track will be behind the drag race tower.
