Thinking of putting this in my Maverick project. I had no idea what this was when I first seen it. And I thought I was a Ford guy.

The Maverick is back on? That's cool - keep us posted on progress.

Looks like a sweet engine BTW.

My uncle in Oregon has a 351 Cleveland in his '67 Mustang fastback. It's a VERY tight fit, but a beautiful car that runs strong.

Had to chime in - cleveland engines can run very strong for not a lot of money. Very cam and combination sensitive though. Some very good cleveland based heads out there - factory 4V, CHI, AFD, Ford motorsport c302.

I've got a Boss 351 in my Cobra kit and have really enjoyed it so far. Other than the cam, intake, headers, and ignition it's all stock parts. It makes right at 475 hp and sounds like a cup engine at 7500 rpm. I've had "Ford guys" pause and stare at it trying to figure out what it is. When die hard Windsor guys grille me about my choice, I point them to the Engine Master's Challenge results for the past half decade.
