I see the thread for El Toro in August is gone. Is the hope that some of "changes" that were talked about that might make it happen aren't dead. Havent heard back from Danny, Bill and the gang about if we could make it work. Can we do it or is it dead for this year. Bring on a summer El Toro................Mike

Sure would be nice. Right coasters get all the fun.

I didn't see the first thread but this is a great idea. I think with the help of the board and OCR we can take some the weight off of Bill, Danny & Yancey's shoulders and make something happen.
Something to keep in mind is August is a busy show month for many of the possible supporting vendors. If it falls in the middle of the month we will be able to help whereever we can.
NSRA Louisville is August 4th through the 7th so there will be more than a few vendors(including us) out of town that weekend.
Pleasanton Goodguys is the 26th - 28th, this is another big show that many vendors will be out of town for.
The Super Chevy Handling Challenge is also at the end of August so I bet some vendors will be preparing for that event as well.

I would love another shot a El Toro with an unplugged cat, last time wasn't much fun for me. How about in September, I have multiple car timing equipment that could be used on the road course if needed. We really only have two events on the left coast seems like we could use one more when you consider the number of cars out here and the interest level.
