I am currently putting a L92/6L90e into my 67 Camaro, and am wondering if there are any AC brackets available for a 508 Vintage air compressor? Moving the AC from the lower Pass side to the upper Pass side)

I am going to a LS3 intake, and wish to use my 508 Vintage air compressor (not the stock one which came with the L92). I know S & P makes one with dual idlers ($365), but was wondering if there were any other more affordable options?

Thanks for your help.

I believe the Kwik Performance bracket is an option, but not sure if its compatible with the L92 accessories. I have no experience with L92 acc, if it even comes with them. If you are using vette or fbody acc, it will work for you.

Scott,

I will call and check it out. Thank you for the tip.

Scott,

You were correct. Kwik Perf is about $197, quite a bit less for what appears to be a very similar product.

Thanks for the heads up!

Bobby,

Do you have a thread with info on fitting your L92 with the truck accessories into the Camaro? Would love to hear how you got things to fit. I'm assuming you are keeping the VVT if using the stock accessories?

Chad,

I decided to drop the VVT, and I went with the most aggressive cam I could without having to fly cut the pistons.
My motor did not have AFM or DOD (some of the L92's did not---contrary to my previous belief). Texas Speed and MAST have great VVT cams--you'll have to buy a phase limiter as well.
