Moving to a new shop.

Well, we have out grown our space some time ago. So the hunt was on for a new shop. We found a new place to move just about a block from our old shop. We now have enough space to separate the shop up into sections. A fab area, A paint shop, A machine shop/tool area,and a finish assembly area. With plenty of extra space for smaller less time consuming projects. The paint shop walls are up and the booth is being reassembled. Are new show room floors should be installed with in the next week. Well we hope anyway. Some fresh paint is also in the works. Just as soon as they finshing the drywall. All in all we needed the space, But moving a shop really sucks.

Thanks guys, We still need to get some loose ends tied up before we start work on the cars again. The doors are 16'. One of the guys the other day kiddingly said the paint shop looks about as big as our last shop. You know the funny thing is he wasn't far off. only 8 feet short of our last shop.Yikes ....How did we get all that stuff in such a small space....LOL
We will have some more pictures to post when we get the show room finished and the shop painted up.

All I can say is moving is a big chore. This Thursday will be 4 weeks into the move. We are close to getting finished up. Thank God!!! The show room floor tile finally came in and will be going down today. Still need to finish up the air lines and a little paint in a couple of places. We will post some pic's when we get it finiahed up.

I feel for you moving your shop. I have a small shop 1800 sq. ft., when I moved 2 years ago it took 5 days of the hardest labor I'd ever done. Looks great!!!!!

Ah that new shop smell! A great way to find lost parts,tools, animals. and put your "if I had more room" dream plan to work.
Guess I need to come see your new place this year. Good Luck as bigger is good as opposed to having to go smaller.
