For a 67 Camaro?

I am on a budget in the wheel/tire dept for now.
But I cannot drive the car without moving up to 16s or 17s to clear the brakes.

So I am looking for some decent and inexpensive wheels to hold me over until I can spend the $2,000.00+ on wheels.

So please keep that in mind.

I do not care for them personally!
How much?
What size?

17X8- 5" bs, rears are 17X9.5- 5.5" bs.

Only $200. per wheel

Just my thoughts. They don't look like they will do anything for the car.
Remember, You are better to do it right the first time, in the end it's a lot less expensive.

I'm thinking 40 Ford, but not 67 Camaro.

Why not just hold off until you can the ones you really want? You're spending More if you buy some now, then buy more later. Just something to think about.

That is not a bad price....Are these what you want or?????

I don't really care for them that much. If you just need a set of temporary wheels and can't wait to buy your actual final set, why not just buy a set of crappy used wheels/tires in a package deal off eBay?

What about the Crager Soft 8's?. I think they are less than $60 for 17x8 or 17x9s..assuming this is only supposed to be a temporary solution.

I'm not a big fan of the "twist" look. But thats a decent price on those wheels if you really like 'em.

I'm not a big fan of them. Check out the American Racing Rebel. It's a heavy wheel, but pretty nice, and around $200 per wheel. It sort of looks like the Fikse FM/5. I think PHR said they were going to use these on the G/28 eventaully also.

i dont like them either, they look like mini truck wheels (not that there is anything wrong with that) the look and spoke count implys a 6 lug wheel.

are you certain thats not the case here?

/is also a avid mini trucker

Thanks for your input!

I really am just looking for some temporary wheels, but I was not real sure about these either thats why I asked.

I will look into your suggestions.

I also do not care much for them. You must have also had some doubts about them too I imagine. Take all of the advice above and just save your money for the wheels you want. You will be muh happier. :)
Those would be really nice though since you are just looking for something to roll your car around on that will clear the brakes. You could sell them when you get the new ones and make back some of the money.

Thanks to all of you for your input. I have decided to go with these instead I was not real sure about the others anyway.

These are the same wheels as Bwarren on this site I like them much better.

Hopefully these will get better reviews.

Thanks again,
Ed

Yes! Not just better, those look good. What are they? I need wheels before I can do my suspension and need them to be cheap. (I need a smiley that is pulling his pockets inside out showing "no money"!)

Awful.. they look like they were ripped from the 1980's through the use of a time machine..

The second set posted are MUCH better... how about some used TTII's to hold you over? That way you KNOW you would be able to sell them when you get the $$$ for the keeper set of wheels..

man with some custom center caps and maybe some powder coating or something for the wheel centers those would be an absolutely awesome set of wheels, they look pretty damn good now, though. nicest temp wheels i've ever seen that's for sure

These are the center caps that came with the wheels they are not installed yet.

As far as powdercoating the center that would probably look great, but I dont want to put any more $ in the wheels/tires for now.

You made the right choice with the wheels you bought, and did it on a budget.

I agree with bnickel , if you paint the centers black or gunmetal they will look even better.

Thanks guys, I am really happy with them. I doubt that I will get different wheels in the future as the "really cool" wheels are to much $.
