2005 LQ4 6.0L - 3 Miles bought off Ebay from a known vendor
- Includes Water pump, no other accessories
- includes coils, 317 heads (stock)
- truck intake (complete no damage)
- no starter
- no dipstick tube or dipstick
- with wiring harness, pedal not included
- flexplate included

2005 4L80e - 5 miles, stock
- 2wd/rwd
- dipstick tube and dipstick included
- flexplate bolts not included

pictures are available, can post online

Is this setup work $3k, I know 6.2L are between $4k - $5k new. Is a LQ4 not desirable because it is an iron block?

thanks

Funny you should mention that, a great deal on a 6.2L is exactly why this combo is taking up space in the shop. I would like to get rid off it as I do not have anything to put into.

Well, doing a quick search, you can pick up an LQ4 w/about 100k miles for $800+, and the trans w/75k for another $800+.

With yours having almost no miles and the extra bits, I wouldn't spend more than $2000.

Killer miles but not a killer combo. LQ4's are use in conversions but rank fairly low on the deisrability list IMO. Iron block is strike one and the lower compression of an LQ4 is strike two.

Unless you plan to use it with forced induction.
