I currently have a used 1550cfm Accel throttle body set up to use for my Gen 7 system. I have never fired up the motor to know how it's all going to work. I have been thinking the big cfm may not give me the best throttle response since street driving is mostly what will be done when I'm finished. I have the opportunity to purchase a smaller ( and new) throttle body which flows 1375cfm and has 4 throttle bores vs 1 I have now. I'd love to hear what you guys may suggest.
Engine is crate 572 (620hp)

iam thinking with the large throttle boy its going to be a little jerky due to size but it you have it i would give it a shot you have a TPS correct? Drive by wire?

does the smaller TB have a progressive linkage?

Yes. It is progressive linkage

I'd say go for the (slightly) smaller TB for the progressive linkage. A 100% VE 540 cid engine requires a 1000cfm carb for 7000 rpm, so with the 1350 TB I'd say you are good. If your engine is smaller than 540 you're even safer.

It's a 572. I know throttle body size isn't directly related to carb sizing for obvious reasons.
I can't find much info about rules of thumb if not math equations to make the call. Too small of course a problem but how critical it is above that I haven't a clue.
