I have a HO454 with a Projection 1 system I bought several years ago. Last year I added a Procharger. I was able to get support from Retrotek and modified my system with Larger Injectors and MAP sensor and it worked ok for a while. Then I started to have fuel overheating problems. Now on my 3rd pump have fixed it for now. But the system leans out everytime I come to a stop. It doesn't seem to adjust the A/F out. Now the factory guy who knew the product is gone the product is discontinued and I am still having trouble getting this thing to work right. Been at it a year and half. Tired of fighting it and being unreliable. Thinking of going back to a tried and true carburetor. I think the car is making about 600 Hp at the wheels. Any suggestions on a good blow thru carburetor? I want good streetability, cruise and occasional drag.

csu carburators. You will spend about $1000.00 for a brand new unit and it will be tuned to your setup. when i dealt with them for my blow thru setup they had the carb dead nuts on and i slapped it on , set idle , did some tuning with wideband o2 sensors and it is perfect!!i would buy another carb from them in a heart beat.. they are not cheap and it takes 2-6 weeks to get your carb but i have no idling issues, surging issues and this thing is problem free.

Nothing but good things about CSU carbs. Unfortunately, I didn't find out about them until after I bought my BG blow through Demon. Luckily, it is working with my setup quite well. I attribute my luck with the Demon to my carb box (modified air cleaner unit) as opposed to a cast carb hat. I think the box may reduce the signal to and through the carb. I had to fatten up the sec quite a bit, but primary and off idle are pretty close as setup from factory. My powervalve is even working properly!
I am still hoping EZ EFI (fast) comes out with a boosted version of their system that can support 800hp. I'll be selling my carb real fast then.

Im running a carb shop, but I wish FAST would come out with a boost model I would jump on board as well.

Also check over on the turboforums.com and look up Brent Davis, he can help you set up a blow through with "the crutch" which basically means you are using outside control over the power valve for boost enrichment.
also if you have wiring and sensors in place take a look at Megasquirt at www.bgsoflex.com/megasquirt. open source, multiple forums and near infinite tune-ability.
you can work with just about any sensor on nay car if you have actual specs for that sensor.

You guys mention the fast system. I have looked at them also. How about the dominator from Holley?
