I have a 1965 mustang with all stock suspension currently. What would be the best mods to make or parts to get to improve my handling and cornering ability? Also I've been looking into the grab a trak parts are they any good?

If you have the coin, I like this setup.

my setup for my 65 mustang, cpp suspension kit, steeriods R&P + variable powersteering assist, pro motorsport bumpsteer kit, roller perches, 1 inch swaybar, 620 springs, koni shocks and wilwood brakes.

this setup isn't much more expensive than rebuilding the front end with stock parts, but it does go around corners now (at least the front off the car wants to go around corners) and is much more stabil at higher speeds and breaking.
at the moment the rear is completly stock, i am still exploring my options. it will get a 8.8 axle (3.73 with lsd) i would love a 3 link like the evm setup. but the car is a daily driver with autocross in mind, so i dont want to go to far. any idea's?

Hands down! The extreme rear suspension is leaps and bounds above anything else, and Maier proves it by beating all the manufacturers in the autocross at goodguys events. Where are you at in CA? He is in northern CA.

I built my own coilover SLA front suspension and 3-link with watts for the rear.

We offer a custom coilover front end that elminates the shock towers making room for pretty much any engine you want to throw in there. This kit adds reinforcement plates onto the stock frame rails to strengthen them up since they will now be load bearing. We also offer a Torque Arm rear suspension and are currently developing a budget oriented Traingulated 4-link.

May as well throw the TCP hat in the ring.

i mentioned traingulated 4-link on VMF and most off the people talked aboud binding with this idea.
this was a idea like i would have done it since i already have a 8.8 axle, but read the comments.

this put me off to use a traingulated 4 link and started looking at a 3 link like the evm setup.
what make the TCI traingulated 4 link work without bind? i am by no means a suspension expert, but since the upper bars are in a angle, even on your design they would also bind.

Didn't Griggs close the doors a couple months back?

Jason,
That means you will be one of only a few if any falcon with a griggs torque arm.

I wouldn't go with a triangulated 4 link unless it offers some sort of articulink/swivell link joint like dse or speed tech
i like the torque are setup , really good in both straight line launching and cornering ability
other setup typical only does really well in one for the other category

Are you imtending track use or primarily street? How much power?

the engine is a stock 5.0 h.o for the moment. i do the upgrade for the engine later after i sorted the suspension and the brakes. its a daily driver with autocross in mind.

If the car is not intended for lots of road course time you have a lot of options. There are a lot of good bolt on pieces available, but you could start with some low cost stuff first and see if it does enough. Good low cost things to start with: disc brakes front (rear too are nice), new ball joints, bearings, bushings and steering linkage parts, do the shelby mod for lowering the upper control arms, slightly stiffer and lower springs front and rear, stiffer leaf spring bushings and stouter rear shackles, a balanced sway bar set-up, dial out any bumpsteer, get a good alignment and give it a try. Lots of other choices if you want to go further or have more you want to spend.
Good luck
