So i found something on my car today. I've had this car for several months and i've taken it to all sorts of places. I went to bend a sharp edge on my fenders so my 17s won't be cut during hard cornering.

So i reach in and feel this box

hmm that's odd, so i turn it over:

I have two sets of keys for this car, but now i have 3 sets. It's covered in dirt and was corroded shut, so i wonder if the last owner didnt even know these keys existed.

The keys fit the car? That's cool. When I took my old car apart all I found was $.23 and an empty bag of Doritos.

I found arse tones of shell casings of various calibers in mine. Better to find extra keys than to find bondo!. Extra keys are a plus. Am I the only one with one key to each vehicle? I keep telling myself to "make copies" but never do it.

Sure, so its anywhere from 1-20yrs old. lol.

I have no clue how long the last owner had the car or the owner before that. Regardless, it was there and forgotten at some point.

I actually found an original key hiding under the carpet of my 58 when I pulled it apart. Perfect shape Briggs & Stratton one that they used with GM then.

I found a 1944 penny under the gas tank in my dads 1944 Willyz army jeep. Just the thought of where that penny has been is cool to me.
