Have you noticed that everything that are in the magazines is readily available on magazine websites? Laptops are small enough to take in the bathroom on a TV tray. Why buy the cow when you get the milk for free? I am a subscriber to several magazines and I feel like I am getting ripped. Am I missing something?

There is still ALOT of information that is not available on the magazine websites. Industry news, letters, new products, and also many tech articles and features.

Yea... we only put four stories from the magazine online.. and not until they are old (ie. the next issue has come out)..
Considering that a subscription costs only .90$ per that does not seem like much for the rest of the stories PLUS the fun of thumbing pages and getting paper cuts ;)
Besides.. we make a few cents when you click online since we sell advertising space there as well. Oh, and the main reason for being online is for people to see what is in the magazine and want to pick up an issue and hopefully a subscription.
.... but who takes their laptop into the bathroom.....
(I am not ACTUALLY looking for an answer....)
