I was looking at this trailer, it is from trailerworld.com

http://www.trailerworld.com/viewproduct.cgi?id=747

It is an 18' aluminum trailer.

Does anyone have one of these?

They are asking $6450 for it. Does this seem to be the going rate?

Are there any options that should be changed or added to this trailer?

I am not actually buying this trailer, my father-in-law is, so it is mine to use whenever i need to.

We also want to be able to carry a tractor on this (Mihandra 6000).

He already has a large enclosed trailer that can carry 2 harleys and a car at once.

So he told me to find an aluminum car hauler.

Nice looking trailer,,,only thing that turns me off about it,,is the lack of a rub rail down the sides,,,besides the front and rear D rings,,,theres nothing to tie to!!!
Not sure about regulations in your area,,,but I would check that both axles have brakes!!
What does his tractor weigh?? The trailer has 3500 LB axles,,doesn;t take to big of a tractor to push 3500's over the limit,,,if the tractor has weights or a loader,,on it,,,it can add up pretty fast!!!
You might also want to have some kind of storage box to throw chains/straps etc etc!!!!
Just my observations!!!!

Does anyone have any experience with the EBY trailers?

Aluminum trailers pull great when loaded and bounce like HELL when empty!

I bought a Featherlite trailer years ago that appeared like the one above and sold 3 weeks after purchasing. It was that bad!

Yes, they bounce empty. And you have to be careful braking empty, or you'll flat spot the trailer tires. Or get a manual brake controller or turn off the trailer brakes when empty.

But I can live with all that to have such an awesome trailer when loaded.

Nice trailer!!!! Looks really sharp!!! Like the nice big storage box that comes with it,,,more trailer manufacturers should step up with storage like that!!!
Can the wind screen be removed or is it welded on??

$6450 is about what I paid new for my 20' enclosed trailer 13 years ago. That one looks very nice.

Coursey, how much does a trailer exactly like that one cost? Same options.
