That's pretty cool. Looks good too. I like the look of it better than some that are out there. Another thing to add to the list. How sensitive is it though? If you accidentally touch it, will it start the car?

So, do you still need to use a key for the column lock, or do you have to disable the column lock out?
Whats the security for accessing the start function?
Thanks.

More details:
FIRST TOUCH: Simulates Accessory position turning on only consumers such as your radio to conserve energy and save sensitive components such as heated 02 sensors and engine computers. (which may suffer from being turned on unnecessarily)
SECOND TOUCH: Simulates On position which is typically connected to power windows, engine computer, gauges etc.
THIRD TOUCH: Simulates Off position.
• A push on the brake and momentary press on the switch engages the starter. Starter is automatically disengaged once “Ignitor” senses the engine running. A convenience found in many modern luxury vehicles.
• Another push at any time returns the ignition to an off state. It’s just that easy!
• Interactive built in led display allows for visual conformation of simulated key position. A theft deterrent pulsing red light when vehicle is off is included.
• Will accept input from any momentary switch, including popular O.E.M. ignition switches! Corvette and Viper switches are in-stock and ready to use. We can also modify any other switch you may be considering for your vehicle to work with “Ignitor.”
• Tach-less input allows for easy installation with any type engine. Built-in circuitry monitors state of engine to determine when it is running.
• Optional security enable input allows for interface with security devices allowing only authorized users access to your vehicle’s ignition.
• Available retained accessory option keeps accessories live for ten minutes after ignition is turned off, or until door is opened.

I understand that to start it, you push the brake pedal and touch the light. Just wondering though....does this set up use a fob that you need to have with you in order to start the car or could anyone just get in, push the brake and start the car?

it uses a proximity key card that you carry with you.

There is an fob that you carry with you and a security button you can switch so the car will not start.

Is there any difference in your product versus the Phantom Touch-N-Go setup sold on this site? Your touch button seems to have that "Ring Brothers" flair to it (red with the brushed aluminum ring with the dimples) vs just a polished aluminum or black anodized one on their product... I see your product is $100.00 higher ($650 vs $550)... It's obvious the two products are made by the same manufacturer.

I'm definitely using one of these products. I'm just trying to figure out the price difference...

We are working with Mark at Phantom on this product. With the new Gen II design (not pictured) Phantom's price will be similar. Our button cost more to manufacutre so the price will be similar to their anodized pricing. Either way you go you will be getting a made in the USA product from an outstanding company.
The Gen II system will only have one black box. They only other difference will be that the key fob will have buttons for locking the doors.

It is, we actually got Jared's prototype last October for a customer's car we had at Goodguys Dallas. It is an awesome product, very well thought out, looking foward to installing more of them.

I wanted to let everyone know that we accidentally used a trademarked name for this product. The company that has it trademarked was really decent about it. We pulled the marketing materials that we have on it and are working on a new name now. Any ideas?

Plus I'm waiting for Jim to install it on this 2nd Gen we are doing so I can get you a video. Haven't gotten to paint yet so it will be a while yet.

"One-touch" "Command-start" "Ride-start" "Run-touch" "Speed-start" "Fast-start" "Fast-touch"

Just sitting here at work, brainstorming names......lol.

How about just "Touch" with the saying- "Ignition at your finger tips" ???? Simple name and it gets the point across real easy...
