Does anyone have the wiring diagram for BMW 3 series seats? I have the pig tail and I can get the seats to move with just the red and the brown heavy wires but what are the rest of the wires?
Thanks
Bill

Here's one I made for my seats. Not sure what year your seats are out of, but they should be pretty close to the same. Most of the other wires you won't need, such as seat heater, memory, airbags, etc. Be very careful with the purple wire (I think, as they're associated w/ the airbags) you don't want to run power to those because the airbags will deploy. Again, not sure if your seats have them or not. You're probably fine only connecting the wires you mentioned. There's a bit more detail on this on my write up for my install. Check it out, may help.

Thanks, I'll have to check out your thread.
I have 06 3 series seats with heaters (not using) and airbags.
I was really concerned about blowing the bags!
thank you

I have a set ,and hooked up red to hot brown to ground and worked real good
Does anyone have the pinouts for the rest of the seat functions? I have a set of 2004 M3 convertible seats with the built in shoulder harness and I would love to connect the seat heaters. I drive my LS1 powered 1969 Camaro just about every day.
I looked at getting the BMW seat heater buttons but they are mounted in the traction control panel. I figure I can use a Nissan/Infiniti seat heater switch to run them.

Do a search on Bimmer forums, or e46fanatics.com. You'll probably find what you're looking for. Only other option is to pick up a manual for that specific year, either online, or from a BMW dealer. I think I was able to identify all 19 pinouts on my yellow seat connector. However, mine was out of a '08 M3. This may help.
