What shade of gray/white is a good choice to paint an engine bay, just like the vintage race cars? I was thinking about maybe using engine gray and then clearing it. Ideas?

We use Rustoleum Light Machine Gray to touch up when we modify or repair our race chassis. The chassis is powdered in what I consider the perfect racing gray, but it was done when we got it, and the Rustoleum is slightly more green than the chassis gray.

Rustoleum makes a winter gray. Its perfect, real light and allows you to see junk/fluids real fast.

Old ford dove gray is what they used in the older race cars I think it is a 1968-1975 color
