A data export from Harry's. I have the color change set at yellow = 0.5+ G's and red = 0.85+ G's. Still haven't been able to hold .9+ G's though I've seen spikes up that high.

I forgot to mention Carl aka Hollywood is famous at this track. I had at least four different groups come by saying how bad ass my ls1 magnacharged car is haha. I had to point out there is actually a seco d red 68 Camaro in SoCal which owned by a guy named Carl with that set up.


Also met a mini driver (name of Brian I think) whose friend has a bad ass black 69 and lives in Vegas. I replied you mean Todd Akes? Yup same guy :)

This little Datsun 510 was pretty sweet. The guy had just gotten it road worthy the night before. Showed up and ran 1:30's with less than 20 miles on the car. He had some Nissan turbo motor in it making 300ish horses IIRC.

There was another guy running there late last year that had a 510 that was super $itchen. It was primer yellow but the car was an impressive piece of custom fabrication.

That 510 probably has a S20; Matt used to have a 240z with a SR20, and that thing was a hoot!

My top speed was just under 100 when I glanced at my speedo so I trust the reading on the map from Harry's Laptimer of 96. A car with decent HP and brakes will easily hit weill over 100 there. Well depending on how fearless you are since part of that straight has a blind crest with some nasty pavement bump to it.

I heard guys talking about hitting 120 in that section!

I was chatting with Carl about potential upcoming dates at SOWS and sent him the following... hint hint

April 30 & May 1st SOWS with Speed ventures for $140 a day. They are running full course with bowl CW first day and CCW second.

May 15 SOWS with Extremespeed (same guys I ran with Sunday. pretty lowkey and attracted a very friendly crowd. Didn't warn us that they were sharing the track that day... They did appear to allow passengers (not sure how that worked) and ran the full track with bowl which I liked. $105 for the day.

May 21 & 22 SOWS with Speedventures. Same setup as 4/30 & 5/1 it appears though no pricing on the site.

May 28 & 29th SOWS with LASAAC. I think this is the Shelby club we all ran together at 3 years ago (2009). $210 for both days.

June 11 & 12 Buttonwillow with Speedventures.

The Shelby club is a good bunch of guys. It's a good price for two days tough I might be able to make it for only one.
