I bought this complete set of interior take outs from an 02 Acura TL that was in a roll over crash. I am going a different direction with interior on my 72 Nova (front seats are too high), and wanted to pass along this good deal to a forum member.

I know that this interior will fit a 1st/2nd Gen Nova with some minor modifications. One of the members over at Steve's Nova Site did a write up

http://www.stevesnovasite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=142715

called "Acura Seats in a 1st Gen" :D:D

Driver seat has some minor cracking in one area, and will need part of the outer vinyl replaced

For sale, I have: both Front buckets, Rear bench, with Acura OEM seat belts.

$250 cash - which is exactly what I paid.

I am in Irvine (Orange County) CA. Seats are currently at JCG Restorations in Oxnard, CA

Please PM me with questions or if you need measurements.

Did you try dropping them on in to see how high?
Did you take any pics?
How wide are the seats?

You said the fronts are too high, but what about the back seat? Does that fit alright? I'm in San Bernardino and I have a 69 Nova, looking for a new back seat. Can you get the measurements?

We set them in the car.......They are not super high, just higher than I am willing to deal with.....I did not take pics, but can get you some measurements.

Matt,

The fronts are just a little too high for my taste (I'm pretty tall too). You might not think so......Also, I am not doing the install myself, and did not want to pay (T & M) to have the shop substantially modify the frames to make these seats fit. But I think they absolutely can be done and made to fit with some mods. The buckets are very comfortable and are powered and I have the Acura wiring diagram also.

I am happy to get you measurements on the back seat. It will also likely require some modifications to make it fit.......Again, I took the easy route because I need to get my car done in a few weeks... I am just going to recover my stock rear seat, because that's a heck of a lot easier than making this seat fit.

If you are going to do the work yourself, $250 is a no brainer.......

I am interested in the front seats, but will do the whole deal if I have to. I have a 68 GMC pickup and the higher seat position may be ideal for my large cab.

Any interest in shipping? May need to do a little measuring also, so will need a few basic dimensions.

Thanks,

Jon

Jon, what is your zip code. Can probably palletize the two front seats.....They are pretty heavy, though. I will get you some dimensions - Thanks

I'm in Chicago - 60640

Or you can do Kankakee - 60901

If you could send to a shipping port in or around Kankakee - 60901, that may be cheaper and easiest.

Thanks!

JE
