i wanted to know if anyone knew of or had hopefully used a clear coat for polished aluminum that they were happy with. i am wanting to use aluminum trim in my interior panels and i have a lot of other polished aluminum on the inside. i was trying to get around having everything chromed since its inside and out of the weather. everything outside and under the hood i have chromed but i wanted to save a little money if i could and clear everything inside if i can find something that will hold up and not turn yellow or milky. the main things that would be handled frequently would be door handles, locks, window cranks, etc. like i said just something that will preserve the shine and not flake off after a while. any help would be appreciated. thanks

I have had a lot of polished aluminum plated with a cold cure clear ceramic coat. It is virtually invisible and is very durable. I get it done at a place called Speedway Metal Finishing in Santa Ana, CA

What are the wheel guys using like on my Rushforths? You may want to hit a couple of them up to see what they recommend.
