I really like pro-touring themed restomod builds and have a lot of respect for the guys who actually race those things. Love the cars and the car culture. My car is this 78 Lincoln MkV however I will be using the forum to help my father do a pro-street to pro-touring conversion on a 2nd gen Firebird. Here is a link with pics of the Firebird on the technical forum rather than posting it twice: https://www.pro-touring.com/showthread.php?78580-Input-on-converting-from-pro-street-to-pro-touring&p=787931#post787931 Once I begin work on finishing the engine swap for my Lincoln and begin to aid in the Firebird conversion I'll make a build thread.

Another 460. These cars are factory big block only. The one that is going into it is a warmed over (like 400ish fly wheel sending 300ish rear wheel through a c-6 trans) with plans of a 100hp or more spray in the near future. The car is nothing special performance wise but a heck of a cruzer with all that torque, massive windows and a power sunroof the size of T-tops. It's more of a highway "performance" car than anything. An absolute dog until you hit 70mph then it wakes up. Looking to argument that with nitrous oxide. If all goes well I will finish the engine swap and begin the NOS install while also working on a 74 pro-street to pro-touring 455 Pontiac powered Firebird build. If not then there is always next year! The irony is that I was raise a Pontiac kid by by father and fell in love with the ford truck he used to pull the 70 GTO Judge drag car. Long story short I became a 460 fan and a late 70's ford car fan based on the long hood, low roof and high belt line styling. The MkV combined both those elements into a single car. Performance or lack there of I like the MkVs and am a sick puppy for it.
