No real comments required. No pic of the car, no real run down of the project. We can post new stuff all day long, it's the progress that get's people going, the build, what was torn out, what was replaced, how did you get from A-B, before, after. dilemmas, life causing delays in the plan, funny stories.

Sorry

Don't worry about it. Like Cactuss4 said, no real info means lookers but no takers... Check out my van thread. 32 pages of updates with almost 80k hits and very few comments. That's okay though because at least it is being looked at. :)
Give us a run-down on the project, we need "something" to talk about...

What's with the "woe is me attitude?" As others have said, post more details. What do you hope to do with that car? What suspension, brakes, etc... do you plan to run?

Yeah, what he said! I'm getting ready to put an LS in my 64 Bel Air Wagon and was wondering what I was going to use.

I have a '64 SS convertible, 99% stock. not original, a 355 with a Demon 6pack. maybe some day I will get a 409 for it, which it had when it came from the factory.
I would love to build a '64 Pro-touring car out of one. I would start with photos, at start with the plan and long term goals. asking for help how to make the frame better, suspension thoughts, and so on. that will get you feed back, and ideas.

This is what that '64 needs, finder skirts, & no hydraulics!!!!
wheels - custom one off to look just like the "64 SS hubcap, in 18"X 9 1/2" upfront & 18"X 11" in the rear.

so Whats the plan???

Thank you very much for the comments and I appreciate and accept constructive criticism which I think will help me instead of sarcasm.I have been travelling and had no chance to visit the forum.Apologies for late response.
The auto legislation in our country(South Africa) does not permit importation of left hand drive cars manufactured after 1964. My car is right on the border line that is why I have decided to convert it to RHD which can sometimes be a challenge in terms of parts.I am not technical at all and therefore I use other people to restore my cars.
There are few challenges I face. One is the Impala SS RHD dash. I have made contact with fabricators that promise the can fabricate a new one. It is costly. The air conditioner has been sourced from Classic Auto Air(RHD) and these guys were quite helpful. I will be receiving the unit in a week's time which will help the fabricator to position the louvres correctly.
The engine and the transmission will go in next week. I will want to fit the 100 spoke wire wheels size 17" with white wall tyres. These I still have top source which I can get locally.
The interior guys have already started with planning and I plan to use leather to cover the seats.THe moldings are in place and most of the interior parts have been ordered from Late Great Chevy. The exterior colour is ADRIATIC BLUE METAL.The motor mounts will be fabricated. The workshop where the car is have done it before. The rack and pinion is the ISUZU one.
The instrument cluster is the 6 gauge programmable metric sethttps://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif (http://s797.photobucket.com/user/Phalatse/media/Progress%20on%201964%20Impala%20SS/wpbe378084.png.html)
