I want to get new spindles for my 67 Camaro. I have 2" dropped spindles on there right now with QA1 coil overs and Wilwood brakes. What do you guys suggest? I was thinking of just going back to stock spindles and steering arms and using the coil overs to lower the car. Or, Should I go with a tall spindle? and if so, who's spindle to use?

Thanks for the suggestions / help

AFX/ATS spindles are the way to go. You can opt for stock or tall and they will lower the car approximately one inch. Another benefit is the direct bolt on of C5 brake components. They are pricey but you will benefit in the long run.

ATS or L&H makes a nice piece as well...

I would preferably use the brakes that I already have so that kind of leaves those two options out...

Steve, I think you can reuse your current brakes with the L&H setup.

Steve, Our Pro Billet tall non drop spindles will work with your wilwood brakes and they will bolt on without any mods plus improve the geometry. Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.

if you just want a taller spindle, ridetech sells tall 2" drop spindles that save alot of coin over the aluminums and give you the benefit of better geometry.

L&H will accept your brakes as mentioned. They are killer pieces. I just got mine and the steering arms. I was in the same boat and did not want to change brakes.

Steve, I also have the L&H spindles for the same reasons as you stated. They have been on over a year now and made the car so more fun to drive thru the twisties...........Paul
