New sounds to wake up to...

Well we are moving into our new house this weekend and what do I hear? It is the sound of cars racing at Road Atlanta! Man it sounds so sweet. But the wife is like what is that noise!!! Some women don't understand!?

I live 5 miles North of California Speedway, and i can hear the NASCAR races when they are in town. Hell, I can hear just a few cars during test days. Love it.

Awesome. Growing up I could hear the BB modified cars running at Wall Stadium. I always thought that was neat.

I used to get to hear the sprint cars at Ascot......before Ascot went to the great race track in the sky. :(

When I lived at my parents house I could hear Irwindale speedway and it was about 8 to 10 miles away. I loved the sound, even though you had to really pay attention to hear it. Now I live a few miles further and I can't hear it anymore. I love the sound of a good race, which is why I am counting the days until the Long Beach Grand Prix, the sound of the American LeMans is priceless.

I lived 5 miles from MIR when I was younger, I loved being able to ride my dirt bike to the track.

Now it's like a 30 minute drive.

I grew up hearing Flemington Speedway, and my older brother lives out by Maple Grove. You can hear everything on NHRA days.
