Im going a different direction so here it is.

It's an LS1 style T56 from a 2002 trans am that was supposedly wrecked in 2004. I bought this on a pallet that was in a storage building and it has been visually inspected by a certified mechanic as well as by me. It shifts through all the gears fine and only has a small amount of fork material in the fluid which the mechanic assured me was perfectly normal.

Heres what you get:

-LS1 style t56
-621 Bellhousing with shift fork (original not repro)
-Centerforce Dual friction clutch and pressure plate (about 2000 miles on it)
-LS1 to Muncie adapter plate with extended throwout bearing
-Complete Auto to manual swap for a 70 chevelle (will fit other years). This is the full conversion with pedals, bushing, linkages, boots. Literally everything you need to make your car a functioning manually shifted car. ( brand new)
-Hurst billet shifter

also a few parts that i dont need around
-lt1 style pedal setup and a lt1 style crossmember

What you will need to complete the swap:
-Driveshaft
-Pilot Bushing
-Flywheel

Im asking $1700 plus shipping. I located in Sherman, TX and might be willing to make a short drive if neccessary.

To confirm, this will allow the T-56 to bolt up to a Gen I SBC with the 2 piece rear main seal? Or am I reading this incorrectly?

Would you be willing to sell only the transmission/shifter/clutch with out the Chevelle conversion parts?

Thanks,

David

I'm interested in the Hurst shifter

Correct. This will allow a ls1 style t56 to mount up to a regular ol sbc. Sorry guys, I want to sell the whole shibang. You could easily make some money back off of the parts you don't want/need.

Hmmm Sherman isn't too far for me to pick this up.....but I just don't need the Chevelle parts. I was wanting to put this in my Datsun 240z 383 stroker conversion.

I understand the parts may be easy to sell but not to a Datsun guy :)

Can you give me a ball park figure of what $ the Chevelle parts could bring? This would help come to a decision.

Thanks!

David

The chevelle specific parts cost about $275-300. They are brand new in the package. I'd say if you posted them for 200-225 they should go quick. If I were to keep them I'd only knock $150 off just due to the fact that I'm trying to free up some room in my shop.
