I'll be there as well, without car. If you guys have disposable cash to throw at toolboxes, check out my buddy's Snap-On booth. He said they are doing something with tool boxes that customize them with the car enthusiasts car. I don't exactly know how and am kind of anxious to see it myself. Maybe something like a wrap or just generic designs i.e. a '32 box, a Vicky box, z/28 toolbox...
The way he was talking it's going to personalize the box more than just generic accents.

I'll be wearing my RTT Cure shirt!

DFRESH and the One Wheel Squeal are in for the festivities. Will be camped out at the Auto Cross all day, both days.

Anyone who want's to drive from the OC down to Del Mar on Sat morning, let me know----

Doug, we will probably leave around 5:30. The wife and I get off at 5:00 and will have everything ready to go. Still trying to decide if I want to drive the Nova down there, or find a trailer for it; she has a pretty mean vibration at highway speeds:nopity:, will have to see if I can persuade my dad to work on it while I'm out of town this weekend.:fingersx:

Jon I have a trailer I was planning to bring down. I want to drive my car but want the trailer their as a back up. If you provide a driver for my truck and the trailer then you can put your car on it. Im not planning on staying overnight but will be driving each day. I thought I saw that the autox was also on Fri and Sat? or is it Sat and Sun only?

What is the Editors Challenge?, is Friday like a practice day or will the times count toward getting in the Editors Challenge?

Yep, Dael Mar is Fri-Sat Auto Cross, and as an FYI, Saturday will be the Editors challenge, so don't expect too many runs. Last year at Costa Mesa, it took the better part of the afternoon and participants only got 3 runs I believe, since official timed runs will end between 3 and 4.

Nick Lacata won last year. We will all be spectators for that. Friday's times do count towards the actual participant classes. Winners are announced a bit after 3 on Saturday, and your car needs to be available all day Sunday to be on display in the winners circle.

We are working with RideTech to have a weigh-in friday afternoon, 4-5pm. We're bringing down our scales and will give out corner weights, total, and ft/rr %, to anyone who wants to join in. Just head over to the RideTech booth at 4pm and be ready to pull up. hope to see you there.

Del-Mar rooms will be hard to come by now, try the Econo=Lodge in Encinitas, I've stayed there, pretty close, great morning drive down, security is good.
