I have a 67 camaro convertible, pretty much bone stock 327/powerglide that's in need of resto. The body is pretty solid, its a CA car, but there is some rust around the rear quarters and in the floorboards. The leading edge of the convertible frame has some rust as well. The interior is pretty much shot. We bought it out of storage probably 8 years ago, did just enough to get it running down the street, then parked it and have made zero progress on it. I'm not super motivated to sell it, but if anyone out there has a 63-67 corvette project that they've stalled out on and are interested in a trade, let me know, I think I'd have an easier time building a fire under my dad if it is was a corvette, which is his dream car. the ideal car would be a really nice body and relatively complete trim-wise but no drivetrain so that we can do pretty much what we want without feeling bad about splitting up a numbers matching car. Anyone know of such a car for sale or trade?
